About Karia Accountants

Karia Accountants was established in 2013 by its founder and Managing Director, Hinal Karia, a Chartered Accountant with 20 years of hands-on experience in accountancy and tax.

Since graduating in Accountancy, Hinal has spent over 20 years in the profession, starting his career in the Big Four in 2006 before moving to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he worked as a Senior Tax Consultant in the tax department. Hinal then founded Karia Accountants in 2013.

​

Over the years, Hinal has supported clients through HMRC tax enquiries, Capital Gains Tax investigations, and income disclosure matters, often at times when clarity and calm advice matter most.

​

He has a particular passion for working with landlords, advising on portfolio tax efficiency, ownership structures, and the creation of SPV property holding companies, an area where technical knowledge meets real-world decision-making.

​

The firm also works closely with owner-managed businesses, supporting sole traders and limited companies across all aspects of accounting and tax, from day-to-day compliance to strategic planning.

Outside of work, Hinal enjoys travelling with his family, spending time with close friends, and following football and cricket.
